I was on a message board today and a woman was talking about growing up with some pretty serious medical problems. She commented that she would have been upset if her Mom had blogged about them, like is done so often now. We are lucky and don't have anything like that to deal with, however it got me to thinking about what I do post. I started to worry if I was sharing things that might humiliate my kids to have all over the internet. I have done my best to protect my blog. Its not searchable, and you can't take pictures off my blog, but I decided I needed to be more restrictive of who gets to read what I post.
So, I am now private. I liked the idea of blog lists showing when I posted, so I will just mention it on Facebook when I update.

I have gone private a couple times with our blog. Unfortunately I have a lot of family that is too computer illiterate to figure out how to view it! Haha. However, when Aaron is finished with Rad Tech we will probably make it private again because he will be a little more established and I don't want his patients finding him or his family on the internet.
Also if you still would like to have some say over who is commenting on your blog, I have made a comment moderation that won't let people post comments unless I have viewed them first. Of course having a lady stalker of your hubby being able to read it would be too unsettling for me as well. I would most likely make mine private too if something happened like that.
