I posted previously about the farm. This post is a continuation of the the farm. We were there for several days, afterall, that was the whole point of the trip. I loved the farm and the whole outback area. It is so beautiful there. Of course, I was there during their winter, and man was it hot. I can't imagine how it is in the summer.
We met the man who rents the farm. Australians are big on nicknames. I love it. His name is
Jono. That is not his real name, I can't remember what his real name is, but everyone knows him as Jono.
He took us on a tour of the farm, and all the farms surrounding. That was very fascinating to me. I am including a slide show of the pictures I took of the farm and surrounding farms. I wanted to try and get pictures of each crop that is grown in the area.
After the farm tour we went to Jono's house for a BBQ. The food was wonderful and his family was so nice. His wife is so sweet and he has 3 of the cutest little kids. Their house is amazing, the
flowers were gorgeous. They also have dogs, chickens, a miniture horse, and various other animals. My kids would have been in heaven there.
Ithink Australian's are the nicest people on the planet, and I just loved them.
