Chloe's Birthday!

I was going to start posting about my fun trip to AZ when I realized I never posted for Chloe's birthday! That day was an insanely busy one for me. I am on the enrichment commitee for church and we had our big activity that night so I spent the morning helping set up and the afternoon/evening cooking and getting ready, so poor Chloe only got a short party from me. I stayed long enough to see her open presents and then had to run while Blake handled dinner and cake.

So, here's her tribute, then I will follow it with pictures. Chloe turned 6, yay! I must admit, and I've said it before, she is hard. Girls are harder than boys. But she is also a delight. She wakes up with a smile every morning, even when she hasn't slept enough. At school she is everyone's best friend and always includes everyone in the games. She also spends a lot of time playing tag with the boys, especially a certain boy. She told me he is her boyfriend, but she hasn't told him yet. Everywhere we go she immediately makes friends with someone. She loves people and loves to be around everyone. She is very bright and great at coming up with excuses and ways around the rules. I couldn't ask for a better daughter.
She may get angry at me, but she always follows it with a kind thing to say. Today she got into trouble and was sent to her room with the stipulation that she couldn't get out until she cleaned it. Well, needless to say she was angry and told me she hated me. A little while later I stopped in the check on her and she handed me a letter that said, I love you you are the bestest Mommy in the whole world. She's easy to forgive!
