That is right, closeups of one of our kids favorite shows. Well to make this not solely about tile here is a picture of Elijah's room light. The 3 armed, 2 fingered monster.
So back to tile. I currently am avoiding the final row as I have to cut each and every piece. Plus I need to do some repair work on the mosaic. I ripped off the tape and revealed this picture below.
Here is a closeup.
When I was peeling off the tape it was obvious that some pieces did not get any mortar behind them. In this case it is beneficial as the gap is so large in this area. If you look carefully you can see stacks of 2 or 3 spacers to level the tile on top.
