Halloween

We had a very busy Halloween and I ended up exhausted.

First Chloe, Ethan, and I went to watch Elijah in his very first Halloween parade. Here he is as a Ninja Turtle and yes his hair is green, that was very important. One of the great benefits of afternoon kindergarten is the parade is so short and sweet. Chloe tried to join in, she thinks she needs to be at the center of everything.

Later that afternoon I went to help with Elijah's school party. It was a lot of fun. I was in charge of the treat. I had the kids make spider cookies. It was a big hit. Thanks to Susan for the idea.

We went Trunk or Treating with our friend's ward. The kids loved how quickly you get lots and lots of candy. When we got home Daddy took Elijah and Chloe through our neighborhood. They were out for a long time and came home with a bunch of candy! Chloe was so excited to pass out candy to the kids that came to our house after she got home. I think that was probably more fun for her to see everyone in all their cute costumes. We all had a hard time sleeping that night, too much candy and too much excitement. Unfortunately, I think Ethan is getting sick. He hasn't been sleeping well and seems to be getting a cold. Poor baby. Here are some pictures from Halloween, the older kids weren't really in the mood to take pictures, they were too anxious to get out and trick or treat!
