it's been awhile

So, i thought i would post a little story. i posted this on 2 other blogs i am a part of so, if you've already read it sorry.

i kidnapped my Chloe!

So today (Oct. 22) i went to pick Chloe up from school. Elijah usually walks home with his friends but we live over a mile away so i am not ready for Chloe to walk with them. Well, she told me she wanted to walk so i said ok and went to turn my car around. After i turned my car around i stopped and watched for a min and saw that she was upset about something so i drove over to where she was to see what was going on. Turns out the boys told her they weren't going to let her rest at some rest spot she wanted to stop at so she was upset. i asked if she wanted to ride home she said yes, started to get in the car, then said no and got out, then was upset the boys were walking away so she ended up getting in. Well, as soon as she got in the car the boys decided it would be a good time to start running. There were 2 Jr. High girls walking home aparantely watching all this. They had a cell phone and as i drove off i saw them staring at my liscence plate talking on the phone. Well, sure enough about 15 min. later a cop showed up at my door asking if i drove a silver van and explaining that i was seen taking a child in my car that didn't want to go. i said, ya this is her, pointing to Chloe. She's mine, i have pictures of her all over my wall. He was very nice about the whole thing. i just explained that i thought it was too far for her to walk home and i wouldn't let her. He told Chloe to be nice to me and left. Sigh. i suppose it was a good thing these girls were paying attention because how awful if it was some little girl getting kidnapped, but this is my life. Never a dull moment!
