This year I am participating in the Relay for Life in Gilbert, AZ. This event is put on by the American Cancer Society to raise money for cancer research. As you know I lost my brother on Nov 1, 2008 to cancer. This devistating illness has taken him from us. There needs to be further research so that others do not have to suffer.
Cancer touches all of us. I don't know anyone who hasn't been affected in some form or another. A dear friend just found out her dad has cancer, after struggling through her husband's cancer treatments.
