Summer Haircuts Hooray!

It was time for the boys to get their summer haircuts, although Elijah informed me that summer does not start until June 21st so he can't get his summer haircut until then. So, after changing the name, he got a haircut. I shaved his head and although I have been told, thanks to Babycenter message boards, that buzzed hair on my boy makes me look like poor white trash, I love it. I look at it and think wow it must be so cool. If only it was acceptable for me to have that hair cut also. I would shave my head in an instant. I am so done with long hair.

I took Ethan to the salon for the first time to get his cut. His hair is so fine I am not sure shaving it would look good. He behaved so well. The hardest part of the haircut was keeping his head facing forward. The hair dresser next to us was blond and like so many men he is fascinated by blond woman. Even as a tiny baby he would stare and stare at all the blond woman. He looks so cute. Today I spiked it up and I must say I am in love. I have never seen anything so sweet in my life. His hair is like mine and even with gel the spikes didn't last very long. I was hoping to get a picture. I must try again.

We went to the park for a bit today and it was freezing! I should not have to put jackets on my kids in June, there is just something so wrong about that. It didn't stop them from running around, though.
